A Christian magazine, ‘The Sanctuary’ to educate and inform the public especially the youth on spiritual upliftment and politics has been launched.
Launched by the Sanctuary of Grace Incorporated, a non-denominational evangelistic wing of Care Africa Network International, the 30-page magazine also aims at informing the public on health, social and other issues pertinent to individual and societal development.
The launching ceremony coincided with the inter-secondary schools choral festival dubbed: "Inter-sectochoirafese" which is aimed at developing the musical talents in the youth, specifically those in the second cycle and tertiary institutions.
Among the schools that were present at the choral festival were Saint Louis Girls’ High School, Opoku Ware Senior High and Kumasi Girls Senior High Schools.
Mr Yaw Sarfo, Chief Executive Officer of Care Africa Network International, said the choral festival was an opportunity to provide non christian students the opportunity to know more about Christianity and also receive Christ.
He said it was also aimed at fostering friendship and promoting love and unity among students.
He advised students to stay away from immoralities like lesbianism, watching pornographic materials and engaging in examination malpractices.
He explained that such acts were detrimental to their health and spiritual lifes adding, "don’t allow yourselves to be deceived into any of them".
