Come Saturday November 15, ten beauties taking part in this year’s Miss Malaika Ghana pageant at the National Theatre would compete for a brand new KIA saloon car, the prestigious Malaika crown as well as other attractive prizes from sponsors.

Every one of the 10 finalists is a potential queen who would drive away the brand new car and also become an ambassador for the national campaign against malaria. Each of the ladies has proved through the many weekly competitions and group tasks that they are capable of wearing the crown.

The finalists are Daisy Edem Attu, Erika Thompson, Ivy Wereh, Rachael Obeng-Somuah and Tamara Aku Dzormeku.

The rest are Yvonne Eyram Kofigah, Akosua Agyemang-Abrokwah, Faustina Michelle Ayonka, Christabel Ekeh and Christine Ofori.

With only two days to go to the finals the contestants have already stunned the audience with their skills on the catwalk as they took part in a fashion show few weeks back.

The contestants have already polished up their acts to ensure that patrons who would be at the National Theatre to watch them live on stage enjoy the night.

After weeks of grooming and hard work the time has come for the successor of Laurie Naa Lamle Lawson, Miss Malaika 2008 to be declared.

For a whole week all 10 finalists were in Dubai where they toured some of the most attractive sites.

Sponsored by UT Financial Services, Travel Bureau, Vimto, Gino, Forever Easy, MTN, KIA, UB, Allure, Lux and Darling, the Miss Malaika Ghana beauty reality series is a Charterhouse Production.
