The search begins in Kumasi tomorrow, Sunday May 10, 2009, at Miklin Hotel and continues in Accra on June 20 at Alisa Hotel. The 12 successful delegates who will make it to the finals will step into a new world of opportunities, fame and fortune. Sponsored by MTN with support from Gino and UB hair relaxers, Miss Malaika is expected to attract 21st century young ladies who are ready for a challenge and a crown.

The format for the auditioning is this: delegates need to send their names to MTN short code 1758 and all other networks and follow registration instructions. The resultant ID code received should then be presented to registration officials at the venue of the auditions.
