BEAUTIFUL SKINNED Mavis Eyram Dotse, Volta Region representative of the just ended Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show on TV3 has revealed her plans to keep Ghana clean.
Eyram said in order to fulfill her dream she would channel her campaign through educational institutions.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Beatwaves, Eyram said, “I intend going to schools to let them know the importance of sanitation.
I am starting from nearby schools in my area because charity begins at home, they say. I hope with them I will get somewhere.”
According to her, schools were the engine of the country’s future, thus brainwashing students with the imperative issue of good sanitation would definitely bring some success. To facilitate her move, she said she intends setting up a sanitation NGO called Brighter Zone Foundation.
“I am trying to register it first and then write a proposal to some sponsors and companies I think can help. TV3 too is ready to give the assistance I need. So far this is what I am planning.”
Come Friday, July 11, she would be traveling to Tegbi, her home town in the Keta district for a grand durbar. Eyram said she would seize the opportunity to educate the youth in her area on sanitation and also congratulate them for their massive support while she was on the show.
Eyram is currently studying Graphic Designing at NIIT and would be graduating this August. She had her secondary education at the Mawuko Girls Secondary School.
The 27-year old lady emerged the first runner-up in the just ended Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant, whose grand finale elicited mixed reactions from the public.
While others felt Adoley deserved a win, some thought otherwise, as they felt Eyram should have clinched the enviable position due to her outstanding performances.
Others were also not quite happy with Ruweida’s place, just as Fanny’s fans were not comfortable. However organizers explained the grand finale was based on public votes alone.
